Toby Keith is popular, sure, we know that. But you'll never guess just HOW popular the country crooner is.
The rankings for the highest paid singers was calculated, using earnings from June 1, 2007 until June 1, 2008 to place musicians. And Tobey Keith ranked THIRD in that list. This list isn't just country people, it's every musician.
The Police and Beyonce were #1 & #2. Toby was #3!!! He even beat out Madonna and Justin Timberlake, who came in at #4 & #5. How cool is that - a country star beat out Madonna in earnings for the year.
BTW, Toby pulled in a cool $48 million dollars. That's a bit of chump change to play with.
