Miley Cyrus Doesn't Like Her Boss

Miley Cyrus is tired of portraying Hannah Montana. She had a hit song this summer, and now she wants to tour on her own. No more show, no more Disney to sign the paycheck. So what's she doing instead?

Her AND her dad Billy Ray are trying to get FIRED from the show. Billy Ray believes Miley can make a lot more money touring and on her own. Like he should know...one-hit wonder with an Achey Breaky Heart. But what kind of example is he setting for his daughter, to try and deliberately get fired? And from Disney, no less!

I think she's a disaster brewing. Working for Disney is keeping her on the straight and narrow...for now.

I can totally understand your point about setting a good example for his daughter. However, Billy Ray also knows what big corporations/record labels/movie industry does when they control everything and never allow the person the freedom to explore their own artistic abilities. Disney controls her right now without allowing this young star to stretch her wings. I think Disney should allow her a sabbatical from the show, allow her to pursue her dreams and then come back in the fall if she wishes. Disney has done this to many of its young stars it seems, or so said from reports of many stars not being happy being tied down to contracts when they are pre-teens. I don't know about you but at sixteen, even eighteen, I wouldn't want to be stuck in the same job for ten years never being allowed to spread my wings and fly.

However, getting fired won't prove anything other than she's showing when push comes to shove she's going to quit and run instead of communicating and voicing herself as being unhappy.
