With all of the controversy regarding politicians using songs that weren't approved before hand, it seems Obama had one last week. He gave his political speech and exited the stage to Brooks & Dunn, "Only in America" which did seem fitting. And they haven't squawked about the use yet...
McCain tried to use John Mellencamp's song, and got rebuffed, then he tried using Tom Petty, only to be turned down again. Who knew country music would be so important amongst the politician's this year? Maybe because it is such a bitter battle, and the battlegrounds will definitely be the midwest and south, heavy country music listeners??
Does it make you feel any differently about Brooks & Dunn if Obama uses their song?
